Our Team - Christine's Story
My name is Mirembe Christine. and I teach the children at Elizabeth House. I was born in Uganda, am 25 years old and have 5 sisters and 2 brothers; our mother died in 2000. I began my education when I was 4 years old in the village where I was born. When I was 6 years old my father removed me from the vilage school to a town where standards were much higher, this made me very happy. I woke vey early to catch the bus on the first day at the new school. When I finished my O' levels my father told me that he had no money for me to continue with my education. An elder from my church found me a place at a teacher's training college which was free. When I qualified I taught at a primary school before joining Elizabeth House. I enjoy teaching the children here very much.

"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light."
