Our Mission
Our mission is to bring hope to children with disabilities - and their parents, and to create a positive attitude towards them in the community.We do this by:
- Educating communities and parents in the prevention and management of disabilities.
- Identifying appropriate referrals for children with disabilities.
- Providing children with disabilities with skills and knowledge.
- Networking and collaborating with other service providers.
- Lobbying and advocating for services for children with disabilities.
- Providing affordable disability equipment to children.
- Educating communities about AIDS and disability
- Teaching people with disabilities basics in reading, counting and writing
- Vocational skills including making mats, baskets and bags and sewing and other crafts
- Developing self-care skills including dressing and bathing
- Provision of disability equipment physiotherapy, exercise and massage
